Chocolate Chip Microwave Mug Cake

This tastes like a warm, soft chocolate chip cookie, fresh from the oven!

CHOCOLATE CHIP MICROWAVE MUG CAKE

2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. + 1 Tbsp. flour (I prefer GF oat flour)
1/4 c. dark brown sugar, not packed
2 Tbsp. milk (I use 1 1/2 Tbsp. cream + 1/2 Tbsp. water)
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Salt
2 Tbsp. chocolate chips*

By weight:
2 Tbsp. butter
38g GF oat flour
28g dark brown sugar, not packed
2 Tbsp. milk (I use 1 1/2 Tbsp. cream + 1/2 Tbsp. water)
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Salt
30g chocolate chips*

Melt butter in a mug (30-60 seconds). Add rest of the ingredients except chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Mix in chocolate chips**. Microwave about 1 minute 30 seconds.

*I use Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate chips
**If using larger chocolate chips (like the ones I use), sprinkle them on top instead of mixing in. Otherwise, they all sink to the bottom when it cooks.
